Interim Reports/Grades

During the last week, I sat down with each student and did a simple assessment covering what we have learned so far. This assessment covered character and setting, sight words, letter sounds, rhyming, syllables, counting to 10 and identifying numbers to 10. Your child's scores have been posted on Power School. You can access this scores by going to the USEVS website (http://moodle.usevs.org/). Hover your mouse over Parents and scroll down to Parent Portal Access.

Once you click on that, you will see a screen that looks like this:
You should have received a password at the beginning of the year. If you did not, this is from the main USEVS website:
Parent Access information - if you had a Parent Access account last year, that same account is good for this year!  Whatever your username and password was last year is the same this year (it just rolled forward)!  The district is not going to be mailing informational letters home (to save paper - going green!).  Only letters being created are for new students to the district and kindergarteners. If you need assistance, please email our technology coordinator (Jim Frye) at jim_f@usevs.org, and he can assist you with getting your access going!
Grades are an S, I, N, U scale. S is Satisfactory; I is Improvement Shown; N is Needs Improvement; U is Unsatisfactory.

If you have any questions at all, please contact me. If you want a paper copy of the interim report scores, I can send one home.

Thanks so much!
Miss McPheron
