We had a fabulous week learning about pumpkins. We learned how they grow and made life cycles to show the process.
The owner of the farm read us story called The Very Hungry Pumpkin to teach us about different varieties of pumpkins.
We had some play time in the play barn.
We got to jump on a bouncey farm.
Then, at the end of the day, every student got to choose a pumpkin to bring home!
Next week, we will learn more about pumpkins - we are going to look inside my pumpkin I brought back from the farm. We are also going to study bats. We have the Halloween Party Tuesday night at 6:30 that is put on by the PTO. Students are invited to come wearing their costume - there will be a costume contest and the kindergarten is going to sing a song! The Book Fair will be open during the party and also Monday-Friday during our lunch recess. If you want your child to shop, please send money in an envelope for them to use.
Have a great weekend!
